Frequently Asked Questions
Depending on what you're looking for, you may find one of these pages helpful:
Account Access
Q: How do I access a course, workshop, or program I purchased?
A: Your purchase is delivered through your account at The Inspiration Place.
If you’re a new customer, you’ll create your account password right after checkout, before you reach the purchase confirmation page. Once your account is created, you’ll be able to log in and access your purchase through your Class Library.
To find your classroom:
- Log into your Inspiration Place account with your email and password:
TheInspirationPlace.net/login - Go to your Class Library by clicking the link in the upper right corner. If you already see “Library” at the top of the page, you’re in the right place.
- Scroll down until you see your course, workshop, or program.
- Click “View Course” to open the classroom.
If you’re still having trouble finding your classroom, email [email protected] and we’ll help you get where you need to go.
Q: I just purchased something, but I can’t log in. What should I do?
A: If you make a purchase and don’t already have an Inspiration Place account, you should have been prompted to create your account password immediately after checkout.
If you weren’t asked to create a password, you may already have an active account under your email address. To regain access, go to the login page and use the password reset option.
If you still can’t get in, email [email protected] and we can reset your password for you.
Q: I purchased something, but I can’t find my receipt or welcome email. What should I do?
A: First, check your spam, promotions, and updates folders. You can also search your inbox for “The Inspiration Place” or “theinspirationplace.”
If you still can’t find your receipt or welcome email, email [email protected] with the name and email address used for your purchase, and we’ll help you confirm your access.
Q: I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
A: Go to the login page and use the password reset option: https://theinspirationplace.net/password/new
If the reset email doesn’t arrive, check your spam or promotions folder first. If you still need help, email [email protected] and we can reset your password for you.
Q: How do I change my password once I’m logged in?
A: Log into your Inspiration Place account using your current password.
Then click the circular profile/avatar icon in the upper right corner of the page and choose “Settings.” From there, you’ll see a place to enter your new password. Type the new password into both fields, then scroll down and click “Save.”
Purchases, Payment Plans, and Billing
Q: Are payment plans available?
A: Payment plan availability varies by offer. If a payment plan is available, you’ll see that option at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Some programs may also offer flexible third-party payment options, such as Klarna or AfterPay. If those are available for the offer you’re purchasing, you’ll see them at checkout as well.
Please note that Klarna, AfterPay, and similar services are third-party payment providers. Their approval limits, identity verification requirements, and payment decisions are managed by them, not by The Inspiration Place.
If you’re not sure what payment options are available for a specific program, email [email protected] and we’ll help you find the right information.
Q: Do you accept PayPal?
A: PayPal availability varies by offer. If PayPal is available for the offer you’re purchasing, you’ll see it as a payment option at checkout.
Q: If I choose the pay-in-full option but use a third-party “buy now pay later” service like Klarna or AfterPay, do I still get the pay-in-full bonuses?
A: Yes. If pay-in-full bonuses are included with the offer, you’ll still qualify when you choose the single-payment option at checkout, even if you use Klarna, AfterPay, or another available payment method to complete that payment.
Please make sure you select the correct pay-in-full offer at checkout so the right bonuses are connected to your purchase.
Q: How do I update my credit card or billing information?
A: You can update your billing information by logging into your Inspiration Place account.
Go to: TheInspirationPlace.net/login
If you’re on desktop:
- Click your avatar icon in the upper right corner.
- Click “Settings.”
- Click “Billing.”
If you’re on mobile:
- Tap the three lines to open the menu.
- Tap “Settings.”
- Tap “Billing.”
If you run into any trouble updating your billing information, email [email protected] and we’ll help.
Refunds and Terms
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: Refund policies vary by offer and are listed on the checkout page and/or in the Terms of Service connected to your purchase. Please review the terms for your specific course, workshop, or program before purchasing.
Q: What is the Artist Incubator Program refund policy?
A: The Artist Incubator Program currently includes a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase. To be eligible for a refund, you must send your request to [email protected] during the refund period.
This window is designed to give you time to make sure the program is the right fit. Because this is a coaching program with live support, accountability, training, and community access, refund requests must follow the terms listed at checkout and in the Terms of Service connected to your enrollment.
For the full Terms of Service, go here.
Course and Workshop Access
Q: How long do I have access to my course, workshop, or program?
A: Access length varies by offer. Some courses and workshops include lifetime access, while coaching programs, memberships, bonuses, and live experiences may have different access windows.
Please refer to the checkout page, confirmation email, or program details for the access terms connected to your specific purchase.
Q: Do I have to attend live?
A: This depends on the offer. Some workshops and coaching sessions are live experiences, while others include recordings or self-paced materials. If a replay is included, that will be listed on the registration page or in your confirmation details.
Q: Where do I find Zoom links for live sessions?
A: Zoom links are usually sent by email before the live session. They may also be available inside your classroom or program area, depending on the offer.
If a live session is coming up and you can’t find the link, email [email protected] as soon as possible so we can help.
Q: Will live sessions be recorded?
A: Replay availability varies by offer. If a replay is included, you’ll receive instructions on how to access it after the live session.
Free Resources and Email Delivery
Q: I signed up for a free resource, but it’s not in my inbox. What should I do?
A: First, check your spam, promotions, and updates folders. You can also search your inbox for “Miriam Schulman,” “The Inspiration Place,” or the name of the resource you requested.
If you still don’t see it, it’s possible that you previously unsubscribed from Miriam’s emails. When someone unsubscribes, our system may not be able to deliver new free resources to that email address unless the email is reconfirmed.
If you need help, email [email protected] and let us know which free resource you requested.
Q: How do I make sure I receive emails from The Inspiration Place?
A: Add [email protected] AND [email protected] to your contacts and check your spam, promotions, and updates folders if you’re missing an email.
If you use Gmail, you may also want to drag our emails into your Primary inbox so future emails are easier to find.
Artist Incubator and Coaching Programs
Q: Is the Artist Incubator right for me?
A: The Artist Incubator is designed for artists who are committed to building a profitable art business and are ready for strategy, coaching, accountability, and support.
It may be a good fit if you’re ready to take action, participate in the program, and work directly with coaches who can help you make stronger decisions in your art business.
Q: What does the Artist Incubator help with?
A: The Artist Incubator helps artists build the strategy and systems needed to sell more art consistently.
The program focuses on five major areas:
- Production Plan: building a consistent body of work
- Prospecting Plan: building a list of people who are interested in your art
- Profit Plan: pricing your work for profit
- Promotion Plan: creating a sales and marketing plan
- Productivity Plan: creating systems so you can stay focused and stop spinning
Q: Is everything in Miriam’s book also included in the Artist Incubator?
A: Miriam’s book and the Artist Incubator are connected, but they are not the same thing.
The book introduces the framework, ideas, and case studies. The Artist Incubator goes further with coaching, accountability, step-by-step action plans, templates, resources, live support, and a classroom experience designed to help artists implement the work.
Q: What kinds of artists are in the Artist Incubator?
A: The Artist Incubator includes artists working in many different styles, mediums, and stages of business.
Members have included painters, portrait artists, muralists, fiber artists, floral painters, and other creative entrepreneurs. The variety is part of what makes the group useful, because artists often learn from each other’s questions, experiences, and strategies.
Q: I just enrolled in the Artist Incubator but don’t know where to start.
A: Start by logging into your account at TheInspirationPlace.net/login.
Once you’re logged in, look for “Artist Incubator Program” in your library and click “View Course.”
Inside the classroom, begin with the Welcome section. This is where you’ll find orientation materials and guidance on where to start.
You’ll also find the Artist Success Plan inside the classroom. This resource is designed to help guide you through the program with a suggested schedule. You’re welcome to adjust the schedule based on your own needs, goals, and pace.
Q: Can I upgrade or join the Accelerator Consulting or Inner Circle?
A: If you’re interested in private coaching or a higher-level program, visit SchulmanArt.com/BIZ for current options.
You can also email [email protected] if you’re not sure which offer is the right fit.
Q: What’s the difference between the Artist Incubator, The Accelerator, and Inner Circle?
A: The Artist Incubator is the foundation. It includes the curriculum, group coaching, live calls, accountability pods, and community support to help artists start selling more art consistently.
The Accelerator is a focused consulting experience for artists who want more personalized strategy. It includes customized support around areas like messaging, pricing, website, Instagram, About page, and opportunities, but it does not include ongoing coaching or unlimited back-and-forth.
Inner Circle is the highest-touch level of support. It includes private 1:1 coaching sessions, elite mastermind calls, and unlimited email support. It is by application only and is designed for artists who already have an ecommerce-enabled website and a track record of sales.
If you’re unsure where to start, the Artist Incubator is usually the best foundation. You can explore upgrade options later when you’re ready.
Accountability Pods
Q: How do accountability pods work?
A: Accountability pods are small groups that meet on Zoom once a week to help members stay connected and supported.
Pods are typically made up of 3 to 5 people so each member has time to participate and be heard.
Once enrolled, members receive information about the available pod schedule and can choose a pod that works for their time zone and availability.
Q: Can I change pods?
A: We understand that schedules can change, and we’ll do our best to help when possible.
Because pods work best when members have time to build steady connections, we prefer members to stay with the same pod whenever possible. Pod changes are limited and are generally allowed once every three months.
If you need to request a pod change, email [email protected] and include your current pod, the reason for the change, and any scheduling limitations we should know about.
Q: I can’t make it to an upcoming pod meeting.
A: Please contact your pod captain to let them know.
Private Coaching Calls
Q: How do I schedule my private coaching calls?
A: Private coaching calls are included with select programs, such as Accelerator or Inner Circle, depending on your enrollment.
When you have a coaching call credit available, we’ll email you with a link and promo code to schedule your call.
If you need the link again or need help with scheduling, email [email protected] and we’ll help.
Q: What happens if I miss a private coaching call?
A: Private coaching call credits are limited and reserved in advance. If you miss a scheduled private coaching call without rescheduling according to the policy for your program, the appointment credit may be forfeited.
If something comes up, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help you understand your options.
