FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

I love nothing better than sharing what I have learned with you.

Here’s how you can access my knowledge and experience.

Depending on what you're looking for, you may find one of these pages helpful:

Q: I can’t afford to pay for a whole class at once. Are there payment plans?

A: Yes, for our most recent courses and programs, we have set up payment plan options for those who want to pay in smaller increments. Next time we open a new class or reopen registration for one of the recent classes, look for the payment plan option at checkout.

Q: I am on a fixed income and can't pay for a class now.. can I pay for it later?

A: I completely understand that not everyone can sign up for my classes when they are being offered. And as much as I'd like to offer different options, I am trying to do what is fair to everyone and pay my bills so that I can keep this site up as a forever access! Hopefully you will be able to join the next time or the next class.

Q: What can I do if I missed the registration deadline for a class?

A: If you missed the window to register for a class, you can join the waitlist to be notified when registration opens again. Don’t forget to check all your Inspiration Place newsletter emails for news on opening classes!!

For ALL Enrolled Students/Members:

Q: How is content delivered?

A: You have a personal login and a password to get access to all classes you signed for at TheInspirationPlace.net

Q: How will I know you processed my registration?

A: You will receive an email receipt from the Inspiration Place. Newcomers to the Inspiration Place will also receive an email from [email protected] with your login and a temporary password (please be sure to change your password once you login for the first time).

Q: My inbox is too cluttered from notifications from The Inspiration Place. What can I do?

A: You can change your email notification settings in your Profile Settings. Click on your avatar (circular image in the top right corner), click “Settings,” and look for the three check boxes that toggle the email settings.

Q: Can I ask questions?

A: There is a members-only forum in most classrooms at the Inspiration Place -- look for the comments section underneath any of the lessons inside your classroom.

Q: How can I get a refund for a class I’m not satisfied with?

A: If you are not satisfied, you may ask for a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date. If you paid for your class by credit card, a credit will be issued and will appear on your billing statement. Please email [email protected] for assistance.

For Painting Courses:

Q: How long so I have to complete the course?

A:You have lifetime access to your courses. This means that you’ll never lose access to the courses you purchased.

Q: Do I have to be at my computer at a specific time?

A: Absolutely not. Just like the free series, you can watch the lessons when the time is right for you.

Q: What if I can’t keep up with the lessons?

A: Because you have lifetime access, you can take as long as you want to complete the course. Don’t worry about keeping up with any schedule. Work at the pace that is most comfortable for you.

Q: How do I download the lessons?

A: At the top of each lesson (under the video), you will find a link to download a Tip List (PDF) and a button to download the video. Clicking these will prompt your browser to download the files.

Q: Clicking the download buttons only opens the files in another window. How do I save the files to my computer?

A: Try right-clicking on the download buttons and selecting “Save link as…” (for Chrome and Firefox) or “Save Target As…” (For Internet Explorer) or “Download Linked File As…” (For Safari).

Q: Do I have to download the lessons?

A: No, you don’t have to. The lessons will always be available online to stream. Downloading the lessons just makes them available to you in case you lose Internet connection or if you want to print out the tip lists.

Q: Do I have to buy every supply on the supply lists?

A: Definitely not. You’re encouraged to use whatever you already own and to seek out supplies that work better for your own budget, as long as they satisfy your needs for the class.

For the Artist Incubator Programs:

Q: How long does it take to be matched with an accountability partner?

A: This depends on how many other artists are currently seeking a partner. Once we have a match for you, we'll reach out to you right away via email.

Q: How do I schedule my private coaching calls? (Mastermind members only)

A: When you have a coaching call credit available, we'll email you with a link to schedule your call. If you ever need the link again or your need help with scheduling, please email us at [email protected].

Q: How do I upgrade from Self Study to Mastermind?

A: If you’re interested in upgrading to the Mastermind level, you don’t have to wait until you’ve completed your year of Self Study first. We’d be happy to apply your self-study tuition towards the mastermind investment, or prorate it if you join later in the year. The Mastermind program is by application only. To apply, go to SchulmanArt.com/BIZ

Q: Do I get lifetime access?

A: The Artist Incubator is designed as a coaching program rather than a fixed curriculum. Artists get the best results when they are fully present and take action when Miriam is available for support and troubleshooting. In addition, the curriculum is always being updated and added to so in fairness to our current members as well as to make sure you get the best results, we do not offer lifetime access for first-time members of the program. Members who wish to renew will be offered a favorable alumni rate and/or special bonuses at the end of their prepaid time in the Incubator.
